The Impact of Losses at the Front and the Misunderstanding of War: Alina Mikhailova’s Interview

Mikhailova noted that many do not understand what war is.

Head of the medical service “Ulf” of the First Separate Assault Battalion “Da Vinci Wolves” named after. Dmitry Kotsyubailo Alina Mikhailova spoke about the losses at the front. She noted that she knew the data about their battalion and the losses were shocking.

She spoke about this in an interview with TSN correspondent Natalya Nagornaya.

“I know my battalion data there, and for us they are actually shocking. But I can’t imagine, and I also know my own, those who are assigned to us, I know them, the losses in particular. I understand how many positions ours were lost somewhere, and how many in these positions is a question of three meters of land, how much blood was actually shed for these three meters of land,” the military explained.

Alina Mikhailova added that she cannot imagine how many soldiers die every day on the front line.

“This is a question that most people do not understand, what is war in general, how does it happen. Somewhere like that – bang-bang, they shot, they entered beautifully. No, this is not how it happens. This is not how it happens, and this understanding the losses in general, on the day, how many soldiers died along the entire front line, I can’t even imagine it,” she said.
