The procession of the “Immortal Regiment” will take place in Mariupol on the Victory Day. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of the city Victoria Kalacheva.
“The people of Mariupol are looking forward to this event,” said the deputy head of the administration. She added that in her opinion, the “Immortal Regiment” is the main and most patriotic event, which will be held this year on May 9.
Earlier, the organizers of the “Immortal Regiment” acknowledged that the march could take place on the territory of Ukraine, if the safety of the participants in the action is ensured.
It also became known that the organizers of the action allowed portraits of Russian servicemen who died during the special military operation in Ukraine to be brought during the march.
