The illustrious Citizens who are left without seats | Politics

The results of the general elections of November 10 have given a result bad for Citizens it has lost most of its parliamentary strength. The orange formation has gone from 57 deputies and more than 4 million voters to only 10 seats and less than 2 million votes. Many of its most illustrious deputies will no longer sit on the benches of Congress.

Juan Carlos Girauta is the candidate for Citizens for Toledo in Castilla La-Mancha, an autonomous community in which the party won 28-A four deputies. For his part, José Manuel Villegas, General Secretary of Citizens, also loses his bank in Congress. The match has not obtained any seats in the province of Almería for which he presented himself. Today he pointed out that the main problem in Spain is the “political blockade” and, although he recognized that the polls were not good for Citizens, reality has prevailed with a significant flight of votes.

Edmundo Bal, deputy spokesman for Ciudadanos and deputy in Congress, appeared as number four on the party lists for Madrid. The political group has been left with three seats in the community and loses five compared to the previous elections where eight banks were harvested and almost 800,000 votes. In this way the deputy will have no gap in Congress.

Melisa Rodríguez, Secretary of Youth for Citizens, was presented as the head of the list by Santa Cruz de Tenerife. There the party got a seat and more than 70,000 votes. The results of the 10-N elections show the loss of representation on the island and, therefore, may not be a deputy for this constituency.

Fran Hervías, secretary of the Citizen Organization, is also left out of Congress. Hervías was presented as number one from the list of the party of Albert Rivera in Granada, but like Villegas in Almería, Ciudadanos will not obtain representation in these Andalusian provinces.

Also left out the fourth secretary of the congressional tablePatricia Reyes Rivera, the UPyD spokesperson, Cristiano Brown, and the deputy Roberto Hernández Blázquez.
