The Museum of Illusion reopened

Starting May 11, Illusion Museum, nestled not far from Les Halles and freshly installed in Paris at the end of 2019, reopened its doors and its two stages of optical games in sanitary conditions ensuring maximum security and taking nothing away from experience and fun.

Available in green, blue and black colors and in a spirit reminiscent of the legendary Hitchcock film Spellbound and its Dali decorations, the Illusion Museum offers a series of unique visual experiences on two floors. Playing on perspectives and optical illusions, the various stages of the museum allow young and old alike to confront the laws of physics and optics. However, as of the April 28 announcement opening the way for “small museums” to deconfigure this museum, announced that it would reopen on May 11. And it’s a won bet!

Respect for health precautions

Indeed then and with the fact that the public is invited to touch a lot of objects, the Museum has set up an effective sanitary system: we start by booking tickets in advance on the internet, to avoid going over the gauge attendance, hydroalcoholic gel made available at the entrance and practically in front of each attraction, the exhibition is constantly cleaned, a marking on the ground indicates the distance to be respected, the staff is there and directs you, secured by masks, gloves and visors and even a protective plexiglass window in the box.

Cherry on the cake ? The museum announces that it will donate part of the profits to associations supporting the nursing staff.

Thus, already for almost a week: the public has entered, all smiles behind the mask and takes a picture of themselves in situations of strong and secure optical illusion. A nice outing idea that proves that going to the museum while respecting barrier gestures is possible!
