Juventus bade farewell to AZ Alkmaar in the eighth final of the UEFA Youth League after regular free time. The gate of the Italian band was defended by Senkó Zsombor.
Juventus played the last ten minutes of the meeting at a human disadvantage over an exhibition.
The kicks did not make a mistake in the penalty shootout until the fifth lap, then Senkó Zsombor defended Lewis Schouten’s shot with his foot. And Juve advanced with his next attempt.
The 18-year-old national team goalkeeper has been a Juventus footballer since 2019. The young BL has played in five matches this season, two of which have not scored a goal. Senkó has not yet made his way to the Turin adult team, but in the Serie A match against Napoli and AS Roma in January he was named to the small bench.
For the first time in the history of Juventus, he made it into the top eight in the young BL. In the most recent tournament, 2019-2020, the later winner Real Madrid bid farewell to the eighth final.
In the quarterfinals, the Senkó team will clash with András Németh’s club, Genk, who are also saying goodbye to the farewell.
