The Heat consolidate in the East and Giannis leads the Bucks in the NBA

The Miami Heat further established themselves in the NBA Eastern Conference by beating the Chicago Bulls on Monday, thanks to the performances of Gabe Vincent and Tyler Herro, while the Greek Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Milwaukee Bucks in a victory against the Charlotte Hornets.

Vincent and Herro each scored 20 points and the Heat improved their position atop the Conference after beating the Bulls 112-99.

Star Jimmy Butler and center Bam Adebayo each scored 15 points for Miami, which has won nine of its last 10 games. Max Strus scored his 13th in the fourth quarter also for the Heat.

Bulls guard DeMar DeRozan ended his streak of 10 consecutive games with at least 30 points as he finished the game with 18 points.

Chicago’s leading scorer was Zach LaVine with 22 points, while Ayo Dosunmu finished with 18 and Swiss center Nikola Vucevic did so with 14 points.

The victory was very important for the Miami team as they went to two games over the Bulls, who are in second place in the Eastern Conference.

Plus, the Heat are now 3-0 against Chicago this season.

The Heat led most of the game by building a 24-point cushion.

Vincent, starting for Miami in place of point guard Kyle Lowry, absent for personal reasons, made 7 of 13 shots from the field and 4 of 8 3-pointers.

– Giannis unstoppable against Charlotte –

In Milwaukee, Giannis had an excellent day with a double-double of 26 points and a whopping 16 balls recovered in the rebounding fight, to guide the Bucks in the victory over Charlotte with a score of 130-106.

Giannis was escorted offensively by the basket player Jrue Holiday, with 21 points, six rebounds and eight assists; Bobby Portis, with 20 points and 10 sacks; and Khris Middleton with 19 cards.

For the Hornets, LaMelo Ball stood out with 24 points, Tery Rozier and Kelly Oubre with 17 points each, the latter coming off the bench.

– Morant overflows with 52 points –

In Memphis, star Ja Morant produced a virtuoso 52-point performance to help the host Grizzlies beat the San Antonio Spurs 118-105 in the NBA Western Conference clash.

Morant made 22 of 30 shots from the field in a magical display for Memphis, which bounced back in style after losing to the Chicago Bulls on Saturday.

Morant’s superb performance included a jaw-dropping dunk on Austrian player Jakob Poeltl.

The victory leaves Memphis in third place in the Western Conference with 43 wins and 20 losses, behind the Phoenix Suns (49-12) and the Golden State Warriors (43-18).
