Macadamia nuts are also rich in monounsaturated fats, which can promote heart health by lowering total and LDL cholesterol levels.

They are also low in carbs and sugar and moderate in fiber, a combination that makes them particularly beneficial for people with diabetes.

Macadamia nuts also include flavonoids, tocotrienols, and antioxidants that protect the body from cell damage and disease.
