On the afternoon of this Thursday, August 13, the head of the Capital District designated by the Nicolás de Maduro regime, Dario Vivas, died a victim of COVID-19.
Vivas’ death represents the first known death of a senior regime official from COVID-19.
The Governor of Miranda confirmed the death of the Chavista leader Darío Vivas by Coronavirus. He had been hospitalized for more than 20 days and reported serious respiratory and cardiac deficiencies.
