The head coach of the French “Marseille” Igor Tudor told what are the main difficulties in adapting the Ukrainian newcomer of his team Ruslan Malinovsky to the French championship.
“In the French championship, the pace is higher than in the Italian championship. This comes to the fore even if Atalanta, from which Malinovsky came to us, plays football similar to that of the French Ligue 1. We have our own specificity of players and playing styles, and this requires more pace than the one that exists in Serie A.
And Malinowski didn’t really have time to adapt to that pace yet. But it is important that he is universal, and can play, in fact, everywhere – both on the right, on the left, and in the position “under the striker”. As for the rest, I’m sure Malinovsky will succeed. Moreover, we expect that already this season. Ruslan has everything for this.
