For its 13th edition, the Guitarensave festival should welcome 2000 people in Montaigut-sur-Save. Among the headliners for Sunday, June 5, we find in particular Norbert “Nono” Krief, the guitarist and co-founder of Trust.
Four days, four atmospheres. The Guitarensave Festival offered a eclectic programming for its 13th edition, from June 1 to 5, 2022. It will take place in Merville and Montaigut-sur-Save, where the concerts will be held in the bucolic setting of the Bouconne forest. Wednesday was dedicated to cinema, with the screening of Crock of Gold in Granada, a documentary film about the lead singer of the Irish band The Pogues.
The weekend is reserved for concerts. Rap, hip-hop, dub and electro were on the program for Friday evening, aimed at young people. On Saturday, June 4, however, it’s Celtic evening. On the bill, two groups from Toulouse, and one from Brittany. The Veygan Vampyres et Doolin ‘ will perform Irish music, while Red Cardell will come and play Celtic rock.
Master class of Nono au Guitarensave festival
French guitarist Norbert Krief, better known by the nickname of Nono or as the band’s co-founder Trust, will be present on Sunday, June 5th. He will lead a guitar master class at 11 a.m. in the Arpège room in Merville. ” Not to be missed ! », Warn the organizers of the Guitarensave festival.
The same afternoon, he will be the guest of the group big ten to go on stage. The Parisian musicians, always between the United States from where they draw their inspiration and the European scene where they skim the festivals, will share the bill with other blues rock artists. These last guests are Cincinnati SlimAmerican musician in trio (guitar, harmonica, bass) and the Lyonnais of Nico Chona & the Freshstones.
The organizers plan to welcome around 2,000 festival-goers this year.
