One billion crowns will be released by the state to support the Czech spa industry, as part of vouchers. This was announced yesterday in Karlovy Vary by the Minister for Regional Development Klára Dostálová. Together with Prime Minister Andrej Babiš and Minister of Industry Karel Havlíček, she met with representatives of the city of Karlovy Vary, the chairman of the Karlovy Vary section of the Association of Hotels and Restaurants, Jan Kronika, and Eduard Bláha, president of the Association of Medical Spas of the Czech Republic.
“From July 1, a government voucher will apply. We discussed again how to attract foreign clients here, on which the local hotels depend, “said Prime Minister Babiš after the meeting. “We also agreed on the opening of the Schengen area and dealt with the provision of visas to foreigners,” the prime minister added.
