The government in the budget assumed that inflation for this year will amount to 3.3 percent. In the Convergence Plan Update, which Poland sends to Brussels once a year, the government gives the real average annual inflation rate. The government predicts that it will amount to 9.1 percent. This means that retirees will be able to count on record valorization. PiS also wants to extend the operation of anti-inflationary shields.
