23 years old and still sharing a flat. To think that five years ago I left my house to become independent and that I still haven’t done so makes my hair stand on end. I call ourselves “The generation without a home, car or children”. Our parents, at our age, as many of them have taken it upon themselves to remind us hundreds and hundreds of times, already had a mortgage. A mortgage they say… Not even in my wildest dreams.
23 years old and I still have to wait three quarters of an hour to enter the bathroom, shared of course, with three other people. Three people who still have that shine on their faces when they leave their comfort zone for the first time to experience adult life. I say experience because they are still in the trial period, it will be necessary to see if that shine continues in their eyes when adult life charges them the first monthly subscription. I have tried to unsubscribe, but have not yet succeeded.
