The Gironde Chamber of Agriculture is looking for volunteers to compose the tasting jury for the general agricultural competition for Gironde wines, whose final will take place in Angoulême on May 21 and 22.
Despite the health context, the CGironde Chamber of Agriculture maintains its general agricultural competition for Girondin wines. In total, 2,500 Girondin wines will participate in the competition, with the possibility for producers to see their wine rewarded with a medal, a guarantee of quality for professional buyers and consumers.
The Chamber of Agriculture is therefore looking for wine growers, oenologists, brokers, traders and confirmed amateurs to be part of the selection jury during eleven sessions in Vayres, Bourg-sur-Gironde, Podensac, Pauillac and Blanquefort between March 8 and 23, 2021. The teams from the Chamber of Agriculture will welcome the members of the jury to each site, who will be divided into tables of three.
Together, they will designate the wines selected for the grand final of the competition, on May 21 and 22 in Angoulême. Usually organized in Paris during the international agricultural fair, the competition has been relocated to the Charente prefecture for health reasons.
