The easiest places to make friends were in Mexico, Indonesia and Oman.
The InterNations platform decided the top tourist destinations in 2022 where it’s easiest to make friends.
Data from a recent study leads the portal Travel off Path.
It is noted that, first of all, when compiling the rating, the opinion of foreigners living in a particular country of the world was taken into account – how actively local residents make contact with visitors and how they treat foreigners.
According to those surveyed, the friendliest people in the world live in Mexico. Nine out of ten respondents noted that the local population is generally friendly, and 89% indicated that they are especially friendly to foreigners. 75% of those surveyed said it was easy to make friends, and 80% said they were able to build a support network in the country.

As UNIAN reported earlier, were named most peaceful countries in the world. The rating has been headed by Iceland for several years in a row, but Russia was in 4th place at the end, having collapsed to the very bottom due to the war unleashed by it in Ukraine.
