The French arrived in Hawaii

the Friday November 26 will start last stage of the Challenger Series at Haleiwa. At the end of this competition, we will know the 12 surfers and the 6 surfers who will join the CT for the 2022 season. In the Seeding List, 10 French people are engaged. In girls, Mrs. Fierro and Pauline Ado will go to the water to get the precious ticket and join Johanne Defay on the CT. In men, we will find Michel Bourrez, Maxime Huscenot, Jorgann Couzinet, Mihimana Braye, Kauli Vaast, Charly quivront, Charly Martin as well as Gatien Delahaye. To refresh your memory, last weekend, we detailed the French qualifying chances at Haleiwa. –

Kauli Vaast

As the competition does not start until tomorrow, an informal warm-up was held at the Gas Chambers spot. The spot of North Shore, hit by a generous swell to celebrate Thanksgiving, welcomed some of the future (big) names involved in Haleiwa. John John Florence, Rio Waida and Hiroto Onhara shared the line-up with 3 of our French. Maxime, Michel and Mihimana came to measure themselves in the Hawaiian swell. A short session to test the waters before the launch of hostilities.

In a second session at Rocky Point, it is not less than 50 pros who have gone up in temperature. In the middle of Billy Kemper, Eli Olson and other Barron Mamiya, at home on the spot, Jorgann Couzinet and Kauli Vaast came to feel the waves of the North Shore up close.

The warm-up is now over. The dice are ready to be rolled. We meet tomorrow to support the French in Haleiwa for more than a week and know the final list of surfers who will compete on the CT in 2022.
