The free Xbox Games with Gold games are known again and will take effect soon. The spotlight this month is for Gears 5 which will be free all month starting February 1. The game lets you take on the Locust again and follows the story of Kait Diaz who carries a special secret. What that secret is you will discover as the game’s campaign progresses. In addition, you can shoot a lot with and against friends online in the multiplayer modes of the game!
In addition to Gears 5, Microsoft is bringing Resident Evil, the indie game Dandara, Lost Planet 2, and Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb to the service for free. Xbox Games with Gold for February 2021 again nice and varied
With the line-up for February, Microsoft has put down a nice varied set of free games, but there is an overarching theme in a number of games. In Gears 5 you can blast all kinds of underground creatures, the Locust, on the planet Sera. In Lost Planet you go to a very strange planet full of dangerous creatures. Indiana Jones goes on an adventure and discovers a mysterious tomb full of threats and puzzles and in Resident Evil we exchange the tomb for a mansion full of zombies and puzzles. Dandara in turn lets you explore a beautiful world, in which platforming is central.
