Maląg also informed that “the amount of this benefit is the minimum pension, so it will be PLN 1217 on hand for those who will receive the fourteenth pension in the full amount, because for the fourteenth retirement pension there is an income criterion”.

As the minister said, “this benefit will cover approximately 9 million pensioners, and the full amount will be provided to nearly 8 million old age and disability pensioners”.

The “fourteen” is eligible for persons who will acquire the right to benefits by August 24, 2022. No deductions or executions will be made from the amount of this cash benefit.

The head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy also referred to the indexation of pensions. – As for next year’s indexation, at the moment it would be approx. 9.6 percent. – she informed. However, she made a reservation that “we expect it to be higher, as the average annual inflation rate will probably be higher than 9.6 percent”.
