Fortnite Champion Seriesalso known as FNCS, is the pinnacle of Epic Games’ esports scene. It has the best professionals at a competitive level since 2019. The various subdivisions of the FNCS include players from North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania among other regions.
In 2024, players from around the world will compete in several regional tournaments spanning three Majors and one Last Chance Major, all leading up to the FNCS Global Championship later this year. Following the success of FNCS 2023, this year’s tournament returns to the United States and is said to be one of the biggest Fortnite events to date.
This year’s FNCS Global Championship will be held on September 7 and 8, 2024. 50 duos will be qualified through the FNCS Majors. Full schedules and this year’s format have not yet been announced. He Upper Bracket, Lower Bracket and the Grand Final will be held at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, USA.
He FNCS Global Championship 2024 will distribute a prize of $2M among the 50 Finalists. This amount is much lower than last year, which amounted to $4M. Even so, the total amount to be distributed between the Majors and the World Cup, which will be held in 2024, amounts to $7.6M
