The savings are made mainly on the functioning of the Flemish parliament. This was stated in a press release from the Flemish parliament. Among other things, a series of infrastructural works will be postponed and savings will also be made on public relations, communication, training and consultancy. This will save a total of € 4.8 million during this mandate.
