After half an hour, Carlos Sainz crashed, damaging the rear wing but being able to return to the pits. A virtual safety car was announced due to debris on the track.
About 35 minutes before the end, red flags had to be hoisted. In the tenth turn, Nicholas Latifi crashed.
In addition to the two accidents, we also saw several hours of Kvjat and Grosjean, as well as off-track trips.
Hamilton braked and, according to his words, damaged the hard tires. Maybe that’s why he took the penultimate place.
Vatteri Bottas set the fastest time ahead of Ricciard and Verstappen.
