The first laptop made in Russia has been born, its name is Bitblaze Titan BM15 : Okezone techno

JAKARTA – After the launched invasion of Ukraine, Russia under pressure from Europe. The country led by Vladimir Putin has difficulty using technology developed by the west, including laptops.

It is known, Apple, Intel, and many other large companies that offer laptop products have completely cut off cooperation with Russia.

And reportedly, Russia has now successfully launched its first laptop.

Named the Bitblaze Titan BM15, this Russian-made laptop does not use an operating system from Android, iOS, or Windows but uses an operating system developed by itself.

Reporting from Gizchina, Sunday (12/6/2022), even the processor uses a homemade “Baikal-M” processor. The specifications that the Bitblaze Titan BM15 brings are quite interesting.

The screen uses a 15.6-inch IPS panel that has a fairly high resolution, reaching 1080p. The laptop also comes with 16GB of memory and 512GB of SSD storage.

There is also support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 3.0 interface, HDMI, USB Type-C, RJ-45, and an audio jack.

Not only that, the laptop is also equipped with a 6000mAh battery capacity.

Laptops are available in two material variants, namely conventional aluminum and titanium.

As said, the laptop uses the Baikal-M series processor developed by the Russian company.

Additionally, its octa-core architecture integrates a Cortex-A57 core at frequencies up to 1.5GHz. This chip adopts a Mali-T628 MP8 GPU core at a frequency of 750MHz.

And most importantly, it is compatible with Astra Linux or Alt Linux operating systems.

Russia’s first laptop, the Bitblaze Titan BM15, will start being assembled in the next few months. There will be around 1,000 units presented.

Meanwhile, the price of the laptop will vary from 100,000 rubles or the equivalent of Rp. 23 million to 120,000 rubles or about Rp. 27 million.
