The short preview shows that, just like every season, it will be a party to watch. For example, Sanne Hans goes crazy, we are treated to an English version of ‘Als Het Avond Is’ and Diggy Dex throws his own sauce on the music program. But it also promises to be an emotional season. We see that Miss Montreal is shedding tears, but presenter Simon also has to shed a tear.

Because Jan Smit temporarily takes a step back, his friends Nick & Simon come to his aid and they take over the hosting of Dear Singers. And they are certainly no strangers to the popular music program. In 2009 they were present during the very first season.
During the program, the artists take on the challenge to cover each other’s songs. Every week, one of the artists is central, some of whom are given a different guise. On Dear Singers Davina Michelle, Tim Akkerman, Emma Heesters and Samantha Steenwijk, among others, participated before.
