On Tuesday, May 18, the first semi-final of the international song contest “Eurovision 2021” took place in the Netherlands, in which 16 member states participated. Representatives from Norway, Israel, Russia, Azerbaijan, Malta, Lithuania, Cyprus, Sweden, Belgium and Ukraine entered the final.
The finalists were selected by spectators and a jury from 16 countries represented in the semi-finals, as well as Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.
Slovenia, Australia, Northern Macedonia, Ireland, Croatia and Romania did not qualify for the final.
We will be able to watch the second semi-final with the participation of Latvian representative Samanta Tina on May 20 at 22.00. Then spectators in Latvia will be able to participate in the vote, supporting their favorites.
65. The final of the Eurovision Song Contest will take place on 22 May at Rotterdam’s Ahoy Arena.
