The OnePlus Nord continues to reveal all its secrets. A few days before the launch conference, OnePlus lifted the veil on the full specification sheet for the mid-range smartphone camera on its official forum. Not surprisingly, there is a quadruple 48-megapixel photo sensor on the back and a double front sensor in the hole in the screen.

In a long post on the OnePlus forum, Simon Liu, head of the photography division, confirms the integration ofa quadruple photo sensor on the back. As expected, the camera is made up of a 48-megapixel main module designed by Sony (IMX586), an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle sensor, a 5-megapixel depth sensor and a macro module.
Simon Liu returns at greater length to the presence of the Sony IMX586, which already equips the OnePlus 8 standard, le OnePlus 7T, the OnePlus 7 Pro, the OnePlus 7 and le OnePlus 7T Pro. “We have been working with the Sony IMX586 for quite some time now – not only is the hardware superb due to its large f / 1.75 aperture and optical image stabilization. In addition, we have developed software improvements to optimize its use ” says Simon Liu.
In a second step, the framework confirms the integration ofa double front photo sensor. The front camera is composed of a 32 megapixel module and an ultra wide angle sensor with a field of view of 105 °, ideal for group selfies. It is the first time that a OnePlus signed smartphone has a dual front sensor, underlines the manager.
