The final document on the G7 meeting was published

The G7 made a statement on the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine

The G7 ministers called on Russia to completely withdraw its troops from the Ukrainian border.

The British government on Wednesday 5 May published communiqué, which was adopted at the meeting of the foreign ministers of the G7 countries, in which a whole section is devoted to Ukraine.

Thus, the ministers of the G7 countries called on Russia to completely withdraw its troops from the Ukrainian border.

“It is extremely important that Moscow completely withdraw its forces and take measures to reduce tensions,” the document says.

At the same time, the ministers noted support for the attempts of France and Germany in the Normandy format to ensure the full implementation of the Minsk agreements.

“We remain fully committed to the implementation of the sanctions, recalling that the duration of international sanctions is associated with the full fulfillment by Russia of its obligations under the Minsk agreements and the return of Crimea,” the G7 statement said.

Also in the final document, diplomats expressed concern about the actions of the Russian Federation to block access to parts of the Black Sea, including near the illegally annexed Crimea and the Kerch Strait.

Ukraine was also mentioned in the section on countries’ relations with the Russian Federation, where the ministers pointed, in particular, to “the deterioration of Russia’s relations with Western countries.”

It was previously reported that the main topics of the G7 summit were Russia and China… Three out of five hours were devoted to them.
