VIVA – The director in the film Aquaman 2, James Wan said the film will be different from the first film. Even this film is rumored to be cooler than the previous film starring Jason Momoa.
During the event DC FanDome, Wan said that Aquaman 2 have seen it develop in unexpected ways.
“The second is a little more serious, a little more relevant to the world we live in today. That’s where we want to go,” Wan said as quoted by Digital Spy, Sunday, August 23, 2020.

Besides Wan, Patrick Wilson, who plays Ocean Master, also conveyed that Aquaman 2 will visit a new world. But there is no other information regarding the film.
This sequel is planned to be written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and is inspired by the comic book that he had shown.
“We don’t take a particular comic story and adapt it, but if you want to know the vibe we are aiming for, take almost every Silver Age story featuring Black Manta,” he said.

Wilson previously talked about his return to the sequels and how he tried to get some information from Wan.
“Sometimes, there’s so much information I don’t ask because I don’t want to know, and I don’t want him to go, ‘I can’t tell you yet.’ I just throw little darts here and there. I’d say, “So, how about this?” and he’d say, ‘Well, here’s what I thought.’ But, we talk a lot, “he said.
Meanwhile, Film Aquaman 2 is planned to air on December 16, 2022.
