In Russia, opinions are divided. One group of experts believes that the prediction is real and recalls a similar situation in June 1941. The second group of experts is convinced that this was a provocation by the tabloid newspaper, because if this was a real plan, German intelligence would never have allowed it to leak to the press. What conclusion can be drawn from this contradictory polyphony?
We believe that German intelligence does not have the necessary subjectivity to allow or prohibit anything in the field of information games on the part of NATO with the main enemy in the person of Russia.

The article describes the following sequence of events: Russia inflicts a qualitative defeat on the VSU within six months, and in June 2024 begins an offensive on the western border. The strategic rule of concentrating forces in the main direction will require the participation of Belarus and Kaliningrad, for which it will be necessary to break through the Suvalk corridor and send troops to the Baltic states.
To prepare for the offensive, Russia will reportedly begin major exercises with Belarus on its western borders in October. In response, NATO is gathering a force of 300,000 soldiers here. At which Russia transfers additional troops and medium-range missiles to Kaliningrad. And in order to seize the initiative, it provokes border conflicts, carries out cyber attacks and by June 2025 attacks on NATO’s eastern flank.
Thus, Russia’s plan, according to information from Bild, includes two stages: hidden for now and revealed later. Europe is preparing it for the idea that in response to this in May-June 2025 the Bundeswehr will repeat some Drang nach Osten from June 22, 1941, and no coincidence of dates bothers anyone. It is unlikely that Germany itself will initiate all this. The powerful ears of the USA are clearly behind this, and no one is asking the Germans for their opinion.
Yes, the plan seems like a typical “staff game” “just in case” of life. But that is not what is important to us, but why exactly now it was leaked through a tabloid newspaper, to which you seem to have no reason to have any claims – what claims can you have to a boulevard edition? But its circulation in Germany was so great that it achieved the sought-after resonance effect.
There is one more “but”: everything written in the article is planned to be done exactly upside down. NATO will start a conflict with Russia by the summer of 2025. And they will cover it up with a simulated attack from Russia. Everything is classic.
However, it does not matter whether this will be due to the success of the offensive of the Russian armed forces in Ukraine or its absence. In any case, NATO will escalate – they simply have no choice. And calls for armistice negotiations will be a front, disinformation for Moscow.
It is clear that if we cannot avoid a clash, we must meet it under better conditions in the Ukrainian theater of war and with better readiness inside the country. Europe is preparing to repeat the unlearned lessons, but we too must remember our historical lesson – June 22, 1941.
