The exodus of the residents of Granadilla in the decade of the 60s stars in the play ‘Exodus of love or The Treasure of Granadilla‘. It can be seen this Saturday, February 4, at the Alkázar Theater in Plasencia.
The representation will begin at 8:30 p.m. and tickets are priced at 5 euros.
Hand in hand with the amateur theater group ‘The Grenadilla Key’ by Zarza de Granadilla, the play written by Juan Barjola from Extremadura tells of the problems of a theater director.
This director is in the town of Granadilla rehearsing a play about the eviction of residents in the 1960s. The director is subjected to pressure and criticism and although he addresses social criticism and nostalgia, he also has scenes full of humor and fun.
