The Energy Information Administration Keeps Forecast for Azerbaijan’s Oil Production in 2023-2024

The Energy Information Administration (EIA) under the US Department of Energy has not changed its forecast for daily oil production in Azerbaijan for 2023-2024.

As reported today, July 12, APA-Economics, citing the monthly report of the EIA, predicts that next year the average daily oil production in the Transcaucasian republic will be 650,000 barrels.

According to the forecast, the daily production of liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan this year will not exceed 640,000 barrels.

Last year, the daily oil production in the country was at the level of 670 thousand barrels, in 2021 – 720 thousand barrels.

As reported EADaily, last month daily oil production (including condensate) in Azerbaijan amounted to 610,000 barrels. Of this volume, 500,000 barrels were crude oil, and 110,000 barrels were condensate. At the same time, Azerbaijan used its production quota within OPEC+ by 73.1%.
