Exceptional closure due to a new staff shortage. The Saint Joseph Saint Luc Hospital Center indicates this Friday July 29 that its emergency department will not be able to receive patients on Saturday July 30 from 8 p.m. until Sunday July 31 at 8 a.m.

This shortage of medical-nursing staff does not make it possible “to ensure patient care in a favorable and secure context”, specifies the hospital on the quai Claude Bernard in a press release.

The “necessary provisions” have been put in place with the Regional Health Agency and the partners of the territory to “coordinate the care of patients”, assures the hospital center.

Patients are therefore invited “to take the advice of their attending physician” and if necessary “to contact the 15th where regulators can assess their situation”. Depending on their needs, they will be referred to another emergency service or a home intervention may be initiated.
