The President of the Disciplinary Council, President of Appeals, Alexandros Paloukis, postponed until December 6 the audit process of the Epirus Regional Governor and the members of the Financial Committee of the Epirus Region for decisions that had to do with the assignment of legal cases of the Region to specific lawyers, ignoring the legal advisors and services of the Region.
The lawyer G. Tataya who represented the Regional Governor and the majority of referred Regional Councilors asked for the postponement and only Giorgos Zapsas submitted – and orally – a separate apologetic memorandum. All the others, including the Regional Governor of Epirus, submitted a joint memorandum and on this, Ms. Tataya’s request was for the future submission of additional information.
