Encontro Direito a Cidade, festival of popular neighborhoods of Fortaleza in Brazil invited, through the Molenbeek association PeripheriaChérine and Samira from the Ateliers Urbains #19 collective, to come and present STALINGRAD, WITH OR WITHOUT US.
This festival, which will be held from July 15 to 17 in the north of the country, questions the mobilization practices against gentrification, for access to “urban” land, social rights, racism and conscious food.
Samira and Chérine will show excerpts from their collective film on metro 3, and participate in co-creation sessions on these mobilization methods. They will talk about their experiences, and in particular the way they had to go from trauma from gentrification to making a film about their neighborhood.
