The difference between the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Galaxy S23 Ultra Samsung has introduced it as the highest variant of the recently launched Galaxy S23 line. The successor to the Galaxy S22 Ultra is said to come with a number of improvements.

So, what makes the Galaxy S23 Ultra different from its predecessors? Galaxy S22 Ultra? By design, the Galaxy S23 Ultra doesn’t look that different.

Then on the photography side, the Galaxy S23 Ultra now has a 200MP camera and is Samsung’s first device to use it. Previously, Samsung using a 108MP lens on the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The presence of this 200MP camera is said to be able to provide a more experience for consumers. Because, with a large camera resolution, the photos will be of high resolution, so when zoomed or cropped, the quality will still be good.

Besides kamera 200MPthe Galaxy S23 Ultra camera has technical specifications of f/1.7 aperture, 23mm wide lens type, 1/1.3″, and 0.6µm sensor size. There is also support for PDAF sensors, laser AF, and improved OIS stabilization.

For comparison, the Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G which was released last year has a 108MP resolution with specifications of f/1.8 aperture, 23mm (wide), 1/1.33″ lens, and 0.8µm sensor size. This camera also supports PDAF sensors, Laser AF, and OIS.

However, on Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G Samsung has embedded a 12MP front camera with f2.2 and 80-degree FOV. Different from the Galaxy S22 Ultra which has a 40MP selfie camera.

Even though the resolution is down, Samsung says the front camera of the Galaxy S23 Ultra has been supported two-phase detection aufotocus. So, the selfie camera smartphone this is now able to more quickly take focus and bokeh images.
