The diagnosis of the hospitalized Czech president has become clear

Czech President Milos Zeman is suffering from a serious illness, writes Denik N, citing sources close to the president.

Sources close to Zeman have revealed the diagnosis of the hospitalized president. They note that “among other things,” the 77-year-old politician suffers from liver encephalopathy. The condition is a serious complication caused by acute or chronic liver failure.

“It manifests itself with various psychological and neurological symptoms and can be caused by cirrhosis of the liver,” the publication said.

Earlier, it was reported that Zeman was in the anesthesiology and intensive care unit of the Central Military Hospital (CVM) in Prague for patients with impending insufficiency of basic vital functions. The condition of the Czech leader is stable.

Zeman was hospitalized on Sunday, October 10. The reason for the hospitalization is not specified. Professor Miroslav Zavoral, director of the Central Election Commission and the president’s doctor, declined to disclose the president’s diagnosis. The politician was also hospitalized in September this year.
