The highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed set in feudal Japan is likely to be canceled a few days later official announcement. How in shape The Gamer portal, referring to the data received from the developers, the Ubisoft authoring team refuses to partner with a manager named Jonathan Dumont.
Jonathan Dumont is accused of seriously disturbing the comfortable working environment within the studio. He promotes a policy of “hazing” and toxic communication. Dumont has been formally charged several times with harassment and inappropriate jokes with sexual overtones, but Ubisoft has not yet fired him. Due to this manager’s behavior, the Ubisoft Quebec studio, which is currently working on Assassin’s Creed: Codename RED, has already left some of the best employees.
The development team will no longer tolerate this attitude and will refuse to work with Jonathan Dumont. If their intentions are serious, this could threaten Ubisoft to boycott and completely halt the development of Assassin’s Creed: Codename RED. Gamers can only hope that this time the leaders of the company will listen to their employees and fire the toxic manager.
