The trip to Kladno was extremely successful for Motor. Eleven seconds after the opening bull, Miroslav Holec started the South Bohemian cannonade, which he also finished at number eight in the 6th minute. The match, which was accompanied by very strong emotions all the time, brings Budějovice three more points and thus a second place behind Prague’s Sparta.
The knights did not expect a pleasant welcome on the ice after a well-managed match against Prague’s Sparta. Only eleven seconds came out of the time trial and Andrej Košarišťan was already hunting for a disc from the goal. The guests got into the zone well after the initial throw-in and Miroslav Holec ended up in the open cage on the left side – 0: 1. At the beginning of the second part, there was balanced hockey, but unfortunately for the home team the Knights still did not understand much about their powerlifting. After six minutes, they were unimpressed on the defensive and punished. Pavel Pýcha got the puck from behind the gate between the circles and finished absolutely exactly – 0: 3. In addition, only 38 seconds passed and it was even worse for the home team. Ondřej Slováček fired from the top of the right circle and Martin Beránek offered his stick ideally for the run – 0: 4. Nicolas Hlava started an interesting event for the Knight, but Tomáš Pitule failed in a good position. The guests continued to handle their chances very well. Vít Christov got the puck three minutes before the siren on the left circle and fired exactly – 0: 5.
In the first seconds of the third part, the Knights must have had a proper deja vu. This time, however, they collected “up to” after thirteen seconds. Marek Račuk had a hockey stick picked up in front of the goal and Matouš Venkrbec increased the distance from 0 – 6. In the end, however, the Central Czechs also scored a goal. Martin Kehar stopped the action of the opponent, penetrated on the right side in front of the goal and passed to Ondřej Bláh, who added his second shot in preparation – 1: 6. Nicolas Hlava was able to obtain a further reduction after an individual action, but after his unsuccessful attempt, joy on the other hand prevailed. Karel Plášil escaped and did not hesitate – 1: 7. After a wrong pass by the goalkeeper Patera, Jakub Hajný served the puck in front of the uncovered cage to Tomáš Urban, who did not hesitate – 2: 7. Later, heightened emotions provided variety when three twins dropped their gloves on the Kladno bench. From the Kladno side, Jakub Hajný, Josef Zajíc and Ondřej Mikliš were present in fist fights. In addition, the people of České Budějovice were still undisciplined, and this time the punishment came. Tomas Urban got the puck between the rings and took advantage of five against three – 3: 7.
