The Devastating Effects of Anti-Gender Movements on Relationships and the Drag Community

The world of show business was shocked on Monday morning by an interview with the daily Blesk provided actor Ondřej Brzobohatý. He did not provide it because of a new project or work achievements. According to his words, he didn’t even want to provide it, but he had to.

According to his claim, his ex-wife Taťána Kuchařová provided the newspaper with a church lawsuit that she wants to annul their union, not only before the state but also before God. The cook denies it. The content of the lawsuit, whose authenticity has not been confirmed or denied by either party, has exceeded the expectations of many, and we are watching live how a toxic relationship can affect people’s lives long after it ends.

In the alleged lawsuit, available to Blesk, the author describes to church officials that her husband dressed and behaved like a woman, which negatively affected their relationship.

“I’m also a big fan of drag queens. It may seem strange or strange to some, but I have a great time with it, and I have a great reaction. But it certainly doesn’t affect my mental health or my sexual orientation.” Brzobohatý stated that he was devastated by the whole thing. In the meantime, Taťána Kuchařová announced via social networks that she is not the one who would provide the lawsuit to the media.

“Only four people knew about the full wording of this lawsuit. From whom did the editors of Blesk receive it? You don’t have to be a detective to come up with a single name by the method of elimination. So no one from the ecclesiastical court has a reason for it. Given the defamatory content of the lawsuit, I’d be a complete fool if I did. If it were one of our lawyers, then both of them can immediately return the diploma, and so there is only one person left – Tatyana. Honestly, I find this realization the scariest thing of all.” said Brzobohatý in an interview, and at the same time stated that his ex-wife threatened to destroy him as soon as he brought the divorce to the table.

However, in the lawsuit, which no one is sure who brought it out, Kuchařová links drag and costumes to deviance, which are like a template copied from the ideas of the anti-trans religious movements that are now rampant in America and that are starting to take root here, too. for example through the Alliance for the Family organization. “In that lawsuit, it’s portrayed as if I’m acting like some deviant monster in disguise. This is absolutely absurd.” said Brzobohatý.

According to him, the whole thing went so far that his wife forced him to go to a sex therapist to prove that he was sick. According to him, this was not proven. “I was sent to her by Taťána. I went there because I wanted to prove to her that my penchant for dressing up had nothing to do with my orientation, as Tatiana feared. At the same time, she wanted to confirm that it was not hereditary,” said Brzobohatý.

Kuchařová, who, according to the content of the document published by Blesk, mistakenly associates drag with sexuality and much more mistakenly with deviance, showed in the lawsuit what she really thinks about queer people. She is so afraid of them that she prefers to convince herself absurdly that her child will not inherit a love of drag or be, God forbid, gay.

Coming from someone who is in the fashion industry, where there are a lot of queer people, this is a bummer and also a testament to how much she respects the people who have cared for her in the industry for years. Whoever it was who sent the lawsuit to the media, its content remains the work of the former miss and reveals her true values.

With the growing tendencies that are coming our way through the anti-gender movements, it is important to emphasize that the love and interest in drag does not determine one’s sexual or gender identity. Drag is not a manifestation of deviance and does not threaten anyone, as the Alliance for the Family keeps trying to tell us, for example.

Even the church may not stand up to the cooks

The annulment of a church marriage is not for every divorce, and it will not be possible for the church to stand up for Tatiana in this dispute. What good is a church lawsuit for marriage annulment anyway? The Olomouc archdiocese states that people should not employ the limited capacities of the church court with a demanding process such as the annulment of a church marriage, just to “come to terms with the past”.

“It makes no sense to conduct this difficult process for another reason, for example, to come to terms with the past, to detach from an ex-husband, etc.,” states the archdiocese on its website.

Despite the fact that the church did not fully support Kuchařová in this decision, many people, including well-known Czech artists and colleagues, supported Ondřej Brzobohatý and his Tiffany Richbitch. His post on Instagram is flooded with words of support from, for example, Dara Rolins, Libor Bouček and Mahulena Bočanová. On the other hand, almost no one believes Kučařová under her post, where she refutes that she would have sent the lawsuit to Blesk, and people are talking about a ruined career.
