Mexico City. Various actors of national politics have made known through social networks about the death of Paloma Cordero, wife of former President Miguel de la Madrid Hurtado. Although so far, no one from the family of the former first lady has spoken about it or confirmed the death.

Through Twitter, characters such as the former head of the Federal Executive, Felipe Calderón; the former director of the Economic Culture Fund and the National Council for Culture and the Arts, Consuelo Sáizar; former Secretary of Labor, Javier Lozano, among others, have sent their condolences to the De la Madrid Cordero family for the death.

Paloma Cordero, who in a few weeks would be 83 years old, was the wife of former President Miguel de la Madrid, who ruled Mexico from 1982 to 1988, in that period, the first lady directed the National System for the Integral Development of the Family ( DIF).

De la Madrid died on April 1, 2012.
