The steering Committee for the provincial prevention and control of epidemics dangerous in the man has organised on 15 June a meeting in the echo the Day of the ASEAN dengue fever and the Day of the environmental hygiene, the fight against the virus, Zika and the disease hand, foot, and mouth (PMB) 2020.

Speaking at the ceremony, the director of the provincial Service of health, Nguyen Thanh Tùng, said the number of dengue cases and PMB confirmed since the beginning of the year had seen a net reduction in year-on-year, and no case of infection by other dangerous infectious diseases had been reported in his locality. He called to speed up the sanitation work, communication campaigns on the fight against the virus, Zika, dengue fever, and the COVID-19.
In Hâu Giang, the week celebrating the Day of the ASEAN dengue Day and the environmental hygiene, the fight against the virus, Zika and the PMB 2020, will take place from 15 to 21 June. It aims to raise the awareness of local populations about these viruses and diseases and to enhance collaboration between committees, sectors, and communities local to the area.
