At eight stations in Bohemia and southern Moravia, they measured temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius on Monday, which is the limit for a tropical day. The hottest was in Dobřichovice, Central Bohemia, where the thermometer showed 31.3 degrees. The record for September 14 was broken by 27 of the 156 stations that measure at least 30 years. In higher and mountainous positions, almost half of the stations registered a new maximum. Meteorologists informed about it on their website.
