Davidová came to Letohrad after the successful summer world championship on roller skis in Nové Město na Moravě, where she won gold in the supersprint and fighter race last week and took the silver after the sprint. At the domestic championship, she made three mistakes in the sprint on the shooting range and won thanks to a fast run in front of the Slovak Ivona Fialková.
“I’m glad I’m over it. It was difficult in the heat. In addition, it occurred to me that the roller skis were heavy and didn’t run very well,” David said on the association’s website. “I have a cold. I’m used to racing her, but it’s not ideal,” she said, deciding to skip the evening supersprint.
