The customer revealed a huge fraud of a large chain of stores in the Czech Republic. This is disgusting, what are they doing?

Businessmen in the Czech Republic are already doing what they want. Of course, only with the aim of earning as much as possible. This is no longer just about food quality as such, but about safety itself. At the same time, nobody does anything about it, and so the retail chains approach increasingly worse practices.

She noticed a strange thing

One of the customers who bought ordinary cheese in one of the stores of the Billa chain was literally in shock. “I bought cheese at Billa and there was a label weighing November 8th, use by November 16th, and somehow the label peeled off and underneath it was weighed November 7th, use by the 15th. listo-fall, so it seems that repeated weighing can extend the life of the product,” said Mrs. Heda on Twitter.

She really hit upon a matter that many thought was out of practice for years. Yes, someone really took the cheese here and pasted a label with the expiration date, which was suddenly extended by one day.

The whole thing is strange. The retail chain apparently wanted to get rid of the product, as its expiration date was approaching. So he obviously reduced the price, because when weighed on November 7, it cost 49.63 kroner. A day later, however, it was already 41.33 CZK. There would be nothing strange or bad about that. As the expiration date approaches, the price may naturally drop to motivate customers to purchase such a product.

Do they do this routinely?

However, it is always necessary to provide them with complete information, including when they can consume the cheese. In this case, the date was extended by at least one day. The customer can then logically ask whether this has happened repeatedly with the given product and only this time someone forgot to remove the old label.

Naturally, one must also naturally ask how widespread the practice is in the given business chain. A saleswoman wouldn’t do something like that out of her own free will. She only follows the management’s instructions on how to deal with such food. And apparently the decision to extend the shelf life was made here. In any case, it is also necessary to add that it can be a dangerous matter.
