Representatives of the separate special task force “Azov” of the National Guard of Ukraine met and examined and described the corpses together with medics.
“A third of the fallen corpses are fighters from the Azov regiment. The affiliation of the other corpses to various units is being clarified,” the Ukrainian Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security said.
Relatives of the fallen will later be invited to an examination and identification procedure.
On June 4, it became known that in the Zaporizhia region on the front line, Ukraine and Russia had exchanged the bodies of fallen soldiers according to the “160 against 160” formula.
