This is the meaning of a question signed by Edy Tamajo (in the photo), member of the Ars di Italia Viva, addressed to the governor Nello Musumeci and the councilor Ruggero Razza.
The Renziano exponent asks for «clarifications on the application of the Regional Law n ° 9/2020 with regard to the fees to be assigned to the health workers with the role of Covid related to the regional health system and emergency urgency: SEUS / 118, driver-rescuers, nurses, doctors and doctors 118 EST, directly employed in the activities of contrasting the epidemiological emergency determined by spread of COVID-19 “.
Tamajo recalls that also for «iThe staff of the Seus with regard to COVID-19, a monthly bonus is foreseen for the period starting from 1 March 2020 and until the end of the state of Health Emergency “.
For the methods of awarding the bonus, which already has financial coverage, however an agreement is needed between the Department of Health and the trade unions, followed by a resolution of the Regional Council and the opinion of the competent Ars commissions.
Well, in the question Tamajo emphasizes that so far the Department of Health has put in place the agreement for only a part of the Regional Health, “effectively leaving the Seus operators out, who are the first to intervene in suspected cases of Covic-19 ».
The regional deputy of Italia Viva adds: “No controversy with the councilor Razza, I am sure he will also guarantee the operators of the Seus the attribution of the Coronavirus bonus. My question aims to be an incentive to speed up times, because the Sicilian 118 employees are always at the forefront and deserve the recognition of their rights ».
