KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The rupiah exchange rate this week will test the psychological level at Rp 15,000 per US dollar. This was in line with negative sentiment, especially from within the country, which weighed on the rupiah’s move.
Economist at the Institute for Development of Economics & Finance (Indef) Bhima Yudhistira Adhinegara said the rush of foreign funds leaving the stock market had a negative effect on the rupiah.
