In addition to the new Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5 consoles, other consoles are coming to the scene, but from a slightly unconventional manufacturer. Earlier, the KFC fast food chain published an advertisement in which they presented their own console. With its appearance, which resembled a famous bucket, and its ability to heat chicken delicacies with the help of a console, it aroused in players the assumption that it was a joke. But it’s not a joke. The KFConsole is a fact.
The VR-ready device, with an Intel processor capable of 4K resolution, raytracing and playability of up to 240 fps, will also offer a special chicken chamber that should keep your food warm. The KFC console also includes an Intel NUC 9 graphics processor and an ASUS graphics card that can be replaced. It also has two 1TB NVMe Seagate BarraCuda SSDs.
This KFConsole was technically first introduced the day after the unveiling of the PlayStation 5, and although many thought it might just be a fun marketing joke from KFC, KFConsole is very real.
The KFConsole case itself, which is supposed to represent the bucket, is made by Cooler Master and the patented chicken chamber is perhaps its biggest characteristic feature. “Thanks to the patented chicken chamber, you never risk your chicken cooling down again. Using a system of natural heat and airflow, you can now focus on your game and enjoy a hot, crispy chicken between the wheels, ”says the official description.
The release date and price have not yet been announced, however, Cooler Master is already promoting the console to their site.
