The Latvian Hockey Federation (LHF) re-election congress on Tuesday did not introduce major changes in the organization’s leadership. Aigars Kalvītis remained the President of the LHF for the next four years.
All 44 eligible members voted in Congress to extend the term of office of President Kalvitis for another four years. Kalvitis was the only candidate for the presidency.
Other members of the board collected much fewer votes at the general meeting. Of the six previously elected, only four retained their seats on the board. Edgars Jansons and Armands Šteinbergs lost their positions, and Edgars Buncis and Oskars Mors will serve on the board headed by Kalvitis for the next four years.
Kalvītis was elected by the members in an open vote as the president, but the other members of the board were held by secret ballot.
