WASHINGTON DC (Aftenposten): European countries have reason to be disappointed with what Joe Biden has delivered so far, according to several experts.
–US President Joe Biden has promised to work for a better relationship between Europe and the United States. Not everyone is impressed with the results so far.
When Joe Biden went to Europe on his first trip abroad, the message was crystal clear. “The United States is back,” he said again and again.
– It is in the United States’ overwhelming interest to have a very good relationship with NATO and the EU. I have a completely different view of this than my predecessor, said Biden in Brussels.
He pointed out that the United States was no longer governed by Donald Trump’s political mantra: America first.
But barely seven months into the presidency, dissatisfaction in Europe is growing. The problem cases are piling up.
