The Company: no flight to New York before the start of the school year

The Boutique Airline Company postponed the resumption of its flights to New York, due to travel restrictions between Europe and the United States and the uncertainty over the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic.

While cases of contamination multiply in the USA and the country is not one of the fifteen to which the external borders of Europe have been reopened, the French airline company specializing in the 100% Business flight unsurprisingly announced that it had extended until August 31, 2020 the suspension (since March) of its route between Paris-Orly and the airport of Newark-Liberty. And this “in the face of the extension of travel restrictions between the European Union and the United States and the uncertainties of the evolution of the global health situation”, explains its site.

The passengers whose flight was canceled by La Compagnie due to the impact of Covid-19 were personally informed using the contact details which appear in their reservation file. All passengers holding a ticket for travel until August 31, 2020, regardless of the fare class:

• Postpone their departure date free of charge from the start of the school year;
• Obtain a voucher, transferable but non-refundable, with a value increased by 15% (valid for 18 months on all our routes).

Depending on the evolution of the situation, The Company plans to “resume the operation of our flights from the start of the school year in September. You can book your flights now, we will offer you the modification fee in case you change your mind. The offer is valid for all reservations made before August 31, 2020 ”.

Let us recall that the Company obtained last month a loan guaranteed by the State of 10 million d’euros, becoming the first entirely private French airline to benefit from financial support from the government – which has already helped the Air France group and Air Austral. Launched in 2014, La Compagnie normally operates two Airbus A321neo configured with 76 Business Class seats, on up to two daily flights between Paris and Newark; it also offers during the summer season rotations between Nice-French Riviera and the same destination.
